Crossroads Middle School
Open House

 

There will be an open house at Crossroads Middle School on April 10th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.  Any student that attends the Open House WILL NOT have to do an additional interview. Applications will be available at the Open House as well for families that just want to check things out before they apply. 

 

For any families that do not attend the Open House Crossroads will schedule interviews as applications are received.   Please contact Beth Vawter at 208-855-4275 if you have any questions.

  • Smaller class sizes (18:1 student/teacher ratio)

  • A smaller community (150 students)

  • Block scheduling - 80 minute class periods.

  • Specific instruction in study skills and organizational strategies.

  • Class time and support to compelte assignments.

  • Clear, consistent and purposeful instruction.

  • A variety of opportunities to achieve success.

MAY 23

Summer School Applications are due.  All applications must be submitted to the counseling office on or before May 23rd.  After May 23rd LATE applications must be brought to Lewis and Clark Middle School.  No packets will be accepted at home middle schools.
 

MAY 28 - JUNE 2

End of Course Testing (EOC). Every student must take the test, so please be sure your child is not absent during these dates.

 

MAY 29

Any Outstanding Fees or Fines are Due

If a student has any fees or fines that are owed to the school, their report card and yearbook will not be issued at the end of the year.

JUNE 3

  • 6th Grade Awards Assembly:  8:05 am

  • 7th Grade Awards Assembly:  9:23 am

  • 6th and 7th Grade Talent Show:  1:10 pm

  • 8th Grade Turning Points Assembly:  11:06 am

  • 8th Grade 2014 Class Photo:  1:30 pm

  • 8th Grade Celebration Dance:  1:50 pm - 2:55 pm

 

JUNE 4 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (FULL DAY)

  • 6th/7th Yearbook Distribution:  8:20 am - 9:19 am

  • 8th Grade Awards Assembly:  8:20 am

  • 8th Grade PTSO Breakfast in the Cafeteria:  9:25 am
    (Sponsored by the MMS PTSO)

  • 8th Grade Yearbook Distribution in the Gym:  9:50 am

 

JUNE 5

Final grades wil be posted in PowerSchool Parent.  PowerSchool Parent will be turned off June 13th.

 

JUNE 11
